Nurse Seekers are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Manager to join a small, independent care facility in Torquay.

The service provides high:quality care and support to elderly residents and younger adults living with mental health conditions , and is looking for an experienced and dedicated individual to support the management team.

As Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure the smooth day:to:day running of the service, maintaining high standards of care and supporting both staff and residents.

• Supporting the Registered Manager with the day:to:day management of the service
• Ensuring high standards of care and safeguarding are maintained
• Supporting and supervising care staff
• Assisting with staff planning and rotas
• Promoting a positive and person:centred environment
• Helping to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
• Participating in the on:call rota

• NVQ Level 4 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care
• Previous experience within a care or mental health setting
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable adults
• The ability to work effectively as part of a management team
• Experience creating and managing staff rotas is preferable
