We're looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead St Margaret's House, providing the leadership, direction and support needed to deliver high quality care for older people.

This is an opportunity to lead an established residential service, inspire a dedicated team and drive continuous improvement, ensuring residents receive the highest standards of person centred care in a safe, welcoming environment.

The role

As Service Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the service, ensuring it continues to deliver excellent outcomes for residents while meeting regulatory and organisational standards.

You'll:

* Lead the day to day operation of the service, providing clear, visible leadership to your team.

* Foster a positive culture where colleagues feel supported, valued and empowered to deliver outstanding care.

* Drive quality improvement, ensuring best practice and regulatory standards are consistently met.

* Oversee budgets, workforce planning and resource management to ensure the service operates effectively.

* Recruit, develop and retain a skilled and motivated team.

* Build strong relationships with residents, families, health professionals and partner organisations.

* Identify opportunities to develop and enhance the service in response to the needs of residents and the local community.

* Contribute to the wider strategic objectives of Cross Reach while championing its values across the service.

About you

You'll be an experienced social care leader who enjoys bringing out the best in others. Confident leading teams, managing services and driving positive change, you'll combine strong operational skills with a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional care. You'll be an effective communicator, an organised decision maker and someone who leads with integrity, creating an environment where both residents and colleagues can thrive.

You'll hold an SVQ Level 4 in Social Care (or equivalent), together with a recognised management qualification, or be working towards one in line with SSSC requirements.
