Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust are seeking an experienced and influential Senior Fire Safety Adviser to lead and shape our fire safety agenda across one of the South West's largest integrated healthcare organisations.

This newly created senior role offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on patient, staff and visitor safety while influencing strategic decision-making at the highest level of the organisation.

Reporting directly to the Director of Estates & Facilities, you will serve as the Trust's senior professional lead for fire safety, providing expert guidance, strategic leadership and assurance across our acute and community healthcare estate. You will work closely with senior leaders, executives and Trust Board members, ensuring robust fire safety governance and helping to drive a culture of safety and compliance throughout the organisation.

At a pivotal time of estate development, refurbishment and fire safety improvement programmes, you will lead the development, implementation and continual enhancement of the Trust's Fire Safety Management System. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with fire safety legislation and NHS Firecode requirements, including HTM 05-01 and HTM 05-03, while providing expert advice on complex fire safety matters and future service developments.
