Graduate Engineer

The Role

As a Graduate Manufacturing Engineer, you'll be involved in a variety of projects aimed at improving manufacturing processes, increasing efficiency, and supporting the introduction of new products into production. This is a varied role offering exposure to production, quality, process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting manufacturing and production engineering activities across the site.
• Assisting with process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Working with production teams to resolve engineering and manufacturing issues.
• Supporting new product introduction (NPI) and manufacturing readiness.
• Producing and updating work instructions, process documentation and technical reports.
• Assisting with root cause investigations and implementing corrective actions.
• Contributing to Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement projects.
• Collaborating with Quality, Production and Design Engineering teams.

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, eager to learn and passionate about engineering.

You'll ideally have:

• A degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Production or a related Engineering discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• An interest in manufacturing, process improvement and continuous improvement.
• Placement year or internship experience within manufacturing is advantageous but not essential.

• Salary of £30,000
