Job Summary

Registered Nurse – Bank shift positions across the Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust. Band 5 (pay £18.66 to £29.85 an hour). Flexible working patterns with a mix of hospital and community site placements. Closing date: 24 September 2026.

• Assess and monitor patient conditions.
• Check symptoms and vital signs; arrange diagnostic tests.
• Apply analytical ability and sound decision‑making in changing clinical situations.
• Work effectively as a team member and promote interdisciplinary relationships.
• Comply with additional trust‑specific duties as required.

• Minimum of 6 months paid experience in an acute hospital environment within the last 3 years.
• Current NMC professional registration; keep up‑to‑date with current nursing practice.
• Additional certification or skills may be required based on the Trust’s needs.
• Evidence of NMC registration and a degree or diploma in nursing.
