Job Summary
Registered Nurse – Bank shift positions across the Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust. Band 5 (pay £18.66 to £29.85 an hour). Flexible working patterns with a mix of hospital and community site placements. Closing date: 24 September 2026.
Responsibilities- Assess and monitor patient conditions.
- Check symptoms and vital signs; arrange diagnostic tests.
- Apply analytical ability and sound decision‑making in changing clinical situations.
- Work effectively as a team member and promote interdisciplinary relationships.
- Comply with additional trust‑specific duties as required.
- Minimum of 6 months paid experience in an acute hospital environment within the last 3 years.
- Current NMC professional registration; keep up‑to‑date with current nursing practice.
- Additional certification or skills may be required based on the Trust’s needs.
- Evidence of NMC registration and a degree or diploma in nursing.
- Weekly pay.
