Weekend Chef – 8am to 2pm
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Weekend Chef to join our friendly team in a dementia‑specialist residential home. You will prepare nutritious, home‑cooked meals for up to 22 residents, ensuring dietary needs, preferences, and allergies are fully met.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch to a high standard
- Follow set menus while also adapting meals for individual dietary requirements
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
- Complete daily kitchen records (temperatures, cleaning schedules, stock checks)
- Work safely in line with Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations
- Support a warm, welcoming dining experience for residents
- Confident cooking for groups in a professional kitchen
- Knowledge of dietary needs, including soft diets and fortified meals
- Organised, calm under pressure, and able to work independently
- Friendly, positive, and committed to high standards
Saturday & Sunday – 8:00am to 2:00pm
