Hours: 16 hours across 4 days per week.

Pay: £10.95‑£12.81 per hour.

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Torquay, Devon. The position is a permanent part‑time role with a minimum of 16 hours worked over 4 days each week, including weekends.

The amount you will earn depends on your age:

• Age 16‑20: £10.95 per hour
• Age 21+: £12.81 per hour

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care, assisting with deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for customers.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.

• A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
• Ability to work in a busy environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Reliability and consistency, as the role is an important part of a small team.
• Flexibility with shift scheduling; rota is planned three weeks in advance.
• Successful completion of an Employment Verification check if offered the position.
