SELECTION PROCEDUREThis is a PROMOTIONAL ONLY recruitment to establish an eligibility list and hire substitutes. Substitutes work on an as‑needed basis to fill in for absent employees. The eligibility list will be used to fill permanent vacancies which may occur during the life of the eligibility list. Promotional examinations shall be restricted to probationary and permanent employees of the District who meet the qualifications of the class.
JOBSITUATION
The current need is for a substitute (on‑call, as‑needed) assignment. The schedule for the assignment is Monday‑Friday, 8:00am‑5:00pm.
RECRUITMENT PROCESSThe recruitment process will consist of a written and/or performance examination and an oral technical interview, which are tentatively scheduled during the weeks of January 20‑30, 2026. Qualified applicants will be notified by US mail or email.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Under the direction of the Manager‑Accounting & Finance or an assigned supervisor, perform a variety of technical accounting/budget and complex administrative duties related to development, reconciliation, and maintenance of financial records and reports as required by County, State and Federal government.
- Calculate, maintain, and audit accounts for schools and departments.
- Preparation, maintenance, and audit of financial records and accounts within a specialized area such as payroll and accounting projects.
- Two years of college‑level training with specialized coursework in accounting, bookkeeping or related field.
- Three years of increasingly responsible experience in the preparation and maintenance of financial and statistical records or in maintenance of employee health benefit programs in an automated accounting environment.
