- Knowledge and understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
- Manage automated reconciliation of cash and credit card receipts to point of sale receipts, investigate any variances
- Reconcile ACH payments against system transactions, record all fees and withdrawals via journal entries
- Record biweekly payroll and month end accruals
- Update balance sheet reconciliations and roll forwards to ensure accurate cash reporting
- Collaborate with team members across departments to address financial inquiries and resolve discrepancies
- Ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required
- Accounting degree required
- 2+ years of experience as an accounting professional
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and superior attention to detail
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Capacity and desire to be agile in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (Net Suite, Oracle, SAP).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other analytical formulas and tools.
