We currently have an opportunity for an experienced onsite Contracts Administrative Assistant at our Torrance, California location.
ResponsibilitiesIn this position you will participate in contract administration, export administration and proposal activities. Interface with internal organizations and customers to coordinate shipping, contracting and export compliance efforts. Investigate, analyze, and coordinate contract documents, briefs, and correspondence.
QualificationsYou’ll need a minimum of 1 year of experience contracts administration, preferably in a contracts or sales organization within the aerospace industry. Other qualifications that will enable you to perform successfully in this position include:
- Applicable knowledge of contract terms and processes
- Maintain customer, supplier and sales rep database in ERP system.
- Maintain and monitors customer supplier portals, updating annuals Certs and Reps, invoicing, obtaining new purchase orders, and requests for quotations.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills is required to effectively deal with internal and external customers and suppliers
- A high level of attention to detail, with the ability to accurately read and comprehend complex documents
- Strong computer skills with previous experience using LN, Infor, Oracle, or other ERP systems
