Business Analyst IT L3

A client of Sharp Decisions is looking for a Business Analyst. This role is ONSITE in Torrance, CA with an initial contract of 5 months, W2 only.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and vendors to gather and document business requirements.
• Analyze and map current business processes and workflows.
• Develop detailed business and functional requirements documents.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and validate solutions.
• Work closely with all teams (e.g. Business, IT, vendors, infrastructure, and reporting and analytics teams) to ensure technical solutions align with business needs.
• Assist in the development of test plans and participate in testing activities.

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in large-scale enterprise projects.
• Strong understanding of SaaS solutions and integration methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work in a complex, cross‑functional environment.
• Experience with business process modeling and tools such as Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN), including:
  • Creating detailed process maps and flowcharts to visualize business processes.
  • Using tools to standardize the representation of business processes, making it easier to understand and communicate.
  • Identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement within business processes.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure that process models accurately reflect business requirements and objectives.
