  • Support development and maintenance of the project schedule, identifying potential delays and proposing corrective actions
  • Monitor work progress, ensuring alignment with project milestones and hospital‑specific construction requirements
  • Assist with phasing plans, logistics, and sequencing to minimize disruption to ongoing hospital operations (if applicable)
  • Conduct regular site visits to observe work, verify adherence to plans, and ensure construction meets quality standards

  • Identify field issues and collaborate with the project team to resolve technical challenges
  • Support compliance with local, state, and federal codes related to healthcare facilities, including life safety, infection control, and accessibility requirements
  • Promote safety standards and assist with maintaining jobsite documentation and reporting
  • Assist in preparing purchase orders, procurement logs, and material tracking reports
  • Coordinate delivery schedules, verify quantities, and ensure materials meet hospital‑grade specifications
  • Support cost monitoring by tracking quantities, documenting changes, and assisting with estimating and budget updates
  • Collaborate closely with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and hospital administration to ensure alignment across the project
  • Assist with punch list management, final inspections, and documentation required for occupancy and regulatory approval
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in commercial construction (healthcare or hospital project experience preferred)
  • Healthcare construction codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, FGI Guidelines, Joint Commission requirements) is a strong plus
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, building systems, and technical documentation
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to coordinate across diverse teams
  • Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, technical specifications, and engineering reports
  • Detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, complex environment with multiple priorities
Working Conditions
  • Full‑time, on‑site role at the hospital construction project site
  • Frequent interaction with project managers, field supervisors, healthcare facility representatives, and regulatory inspectors
  • Occasional after‑hours or weekend work may be required depending on project needs
