Job Title:

Project Engineer

Position is located in a manufacturing plant.
Assists in the monitoring and execution of the Engineering Department and Plant safety programs.
Fulfills Project Manager role in preparing and following to completion all assigned Capital Authorities and Job Sheet requests.
Utilizes technical training to advise on and design various process improvements as required by the operating department.
Assists Engineering Department supervision on routine maintenance assignments and follow-ups required for daily operations.
Assists the Engineering Manager in planning and implementing routine and non-routine maintenance expenditures.
Exposure to direct supervision involving plant engineering crews as well as outside contractors.
This position is designed to provide the incumbent with manufacturing exposure for positions of greater responsibility.

Undergraduate degree in Engineering required.
Prior full-time or co-op/intern experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
Proficient computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office, Drafting etc.)
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
High level of organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
Must be a self-starter, detail-oriented, and have the ability to work both independently and within a team to meet deadlines.
Open to relocation for advancement opportunities with the company.

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
