Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- 0‑2 years of work experience in Engineering or Manufacturing (internship acceptable)
- Some Quality Engineering experience in manufacturing
- Proficiency with statistical, spreadsheet, word processing, and database software packages
- Quality Engineering experience in the Aerospace industry
- Experience with AS9100 standards
- Experience supporting government and customer audits
- Specialized technical knowledge of mechanical, electro‑mechanical, hydro‑mechanical components and manufacturing/assembly/test methods
- Ability to support quality-related issues and convey confidence to customers during frequent interactions
- ASQ certification
- Act with integrity, standing up to address problems promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate on program teams to meet contractual requirements and make quality decisions for customers such as Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Airbus, and Sikorsky.
- Represent Moog to support Government (FAA and DCMA) initiatives, audits, and requirements.
- Conduct QE studies, recommend design changes, and provide quality support to manufacturing personnel.
- Perform failure analysis, root‑cause and corrective action analysis, risk mitigation, material review, and audit support.
- Develop quality plans for receiving inspection, manufacturing operations, assembly & test processes, and final inspection.
- Optimize inspection costs and prevent failure-related costs through statistical analysis and problem‑solving.

Torrance, CA $80,000.00–$85,000.00 annually

The listed range is one component of Moog’s total compensation, which may also include bonuses, stock purchase plans, and additional benefits.
