American Honda Motor Co., Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst II in Torrance, CA. Acting as a strategic business partner, you will lead financial planning, variance analysis, and forecasting across assigned Business Units, advising leadership on capital investments and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct the preparation and submission of 6 corporate budgeting and forecasting cycles per year.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly budget-versus-actual variance analyses for executive management.
- Partner with operational leadership to evaluate financial implications of business investments and expenses.
- Review complex month-end close transactions and journal entries in compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 5+ years of experience (or Associate with 7+ years).
- 5+ years of progressive corporate finance, FP&A, or accounting experience (automotive preferred)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP/IFRS principles and financial modeling techniques.
- Advanced proficiency in SAP (specifically BPC module) and Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional executive communication, business acumen, and stakeholder advisory skills.
