The vascular sonographer at VIP Medical Group plays a pivotal role in supporting our Pain and Vein practice across our Encino, CA location. For this role, training will be provided in our Orange County, CA locations (
Irvine, Huntington Beach and Newport Beach ).
We are in search of an energetic individual who is enthusiastic about learning and making valuable contributions to our clinical team.
What you’ll do- Perform diagnostic venous duplex ultrasound scans, rule out DVT scans, and post procedure scans.
- Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonography exams in accordance with patient safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
- Medical intakes.
- Enter medical notes in our EMR system.
- Use sterile technique for procedure set up and prep patients for procedures.
- Maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA.
- Properly care for Ultrasound equipment and notifies the office if there are any issues.
- Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with co-workers and members of the health care team.
- Associates degree in Medical Sonography.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Sonography.
- EMR systems.
- Certification:
Certified Medical Sonographer. - RVT or RVS preferred.

The pay range for this role is:
40 - 47 USD per hour (Torrance, California)
