Radiation Therapist I - Radiation Oncology (Torrance) (Per Diem)

- Deliver a prescribed and planned course of radiation therapy to patients of all ages.
- Reinforce recommendations given to patients by healthcare professionals concerning reaction to treatment and care of radiated area, prevention, or treatment of generalized and local side effects.
- Perform simulation procedures as prescribed by physician and assist in dosimetry procedures.
- Perform daily quality assurance checks on linear accelerators, reporting any variation in morning warm‑up. Report improper equipment operation to appropriate personnel.
- High School or equivalent;
Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training in an accredited Radiation Therapy Education Program. - 0–3 years of related experience, depending on training.
- Licensed by the California State Department of Health (Certified in Radiation Therapy).
- Certification by the ARRT – in Radiation Therapy CRT.
- BLS or CPR certification.
- Hourly Pay rate: $70.0448 / hr
