What you will do- Serve as WM systems Subject Matter Expert (SME) and support the Project Manager and/or Team Manager on various Parts Applications projects.
- Analyze business requirements and manage the completion of units of work completed by you and other team members.
- Handle units of work ranging from ~100 hour enhancements to large project contributions.
- Gather requirements, conduct functional and detailed analysis/design, testing (unit, integration, system, UAT), implementation, documentation, and warranty.
- Define architectural solutions to meet application requirements.
- Provide status updates to Project Manager/Lead as needed.
- Balance work distribution across analysis/design (30-40%), development (30-40%), and architectural solutions (20-40%).
- Work as WMS SME for the project and ensure delivery of required outcomes.
- Functional expertise in WMS PKMS v2003.
- Technical expertise in AS400 technologies including RPG IV, CLI programming, and AS400 file/DB configuration.
- Strong understanding of retail ordering and warehouse business functions (experience in Auto Spare parts business preferred).
- Good understanding of MQ and FTP integrations.
- Ability to understand AS400 journals.
- Good communication skills.
- Experience with Aldon and DBU is a plus.
- Basic understanding of TMS functions is advantageous.
