Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot user problems at the desktop.
  • Resolve hardware break-fix issues, network connectivity, and application-related questions for third-party products.
  • Escalate or perform server functions related to desktop issues and TCP/IP connectivity.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts to resolve concerns for proprietary applications.
  • Assist Project Managers in the end-to-end process for destination moves and hardware/software upgrades, including client interviews, technology evaluations, recommendations, and technical training.
  • Technical Support Specialist (Senior Level)

    Job Duties:

  • Evaluate system potential by testing compatibility of new programs.
  • Evaluate expansions or enhancements by studying workload and capacity.
  • Achieve system objectives by gathering data, evaluating options, and recommending actions.
  • Confirm program objectives by testing new programs against established standards.
  • Improve existing programs by reviewing objectives and recommending changes.
  • Evaluate vendor-supplied software by testing compatibility.
  • Perform hardware/component factory acceptance testing.
  • Load software into production and establish hardware connections.
  • Train users and provide operating instructions.
  • Document hardware and software changes to maintain historical records.
  • Maintain client confidence by keeping information confidential.
  • Enhance professional knowledge by attending workshops and participating in professional societies.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results.
