Data Privacy Compliance Technology (One Trust & Supporting Systems)

We are looking for a Platform Lead to own and evolve the technology ecosystem that powers our enterprise compliance and data privacy operations. In this role, you will serve as the primary technical owner of our self-hosted One Trust instance and several adjacent compliance technologies. You will partner with multiple business groups—including Compliance, Customer Communications, and Data Privacy Governance (DPG)—to ensure the platform is stable, scalable, and continually improving.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who is equally comfortable driving platform strategy, managing feature roadmaps, and diving into system architecture, integrations, and configuration details.

• Own the One Trust Platform: serve as the primary administrator and technical owner of our self-hosted One Trust environment.
• Support three business functions:
  • Communications/Email Marketing: UCPM for CAN‑SPAM compliance and consent management.
  • DPG: PIA module for data inventory and privacy impact assessments.
  • Manage integrations with internal APIs and downstream systems.
• Maintain the platform lifecycle: updates, patches, major releases, and environment planning.
• Manage the relationship with One Trust product support, track escalations, and communicate platform changes.
• Maintain the platform enhancement backlog and drive roadmap prioritization.
• Support and evolve a .NET web service that brokers communication between One Trust and internal systems.
• Oversee and maintain an internal audit automation capability currently being developed in Python (and potentially lead future enhancements).
• Ensure alignment with enterprise IT operations, architecture, and security standards.
• Serve as the central point of coordination across Legal/Compliance, Marketing, Data Privacy, IT Operations, and vendor teams.
• Translate business requirements into scalable platform configurations and technical work packages.
• Contribute to release planning, operational readiness, and incident/problem management.
• Promote best practices in data privacy, compliance operations, and platform governance.

• Hands‑on experience administering or developing within One Trust (any modules; platform‑wide ownership preferred).
• Strong technical foundation in application/platform administration, API integrations, system configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to manage complex stakeholder needs and translate requirements into actionable technical plans.

• Experience with UCPM, CMP, PIA, or related privacy/compliance tools.
• Background in compliance, data privacy, or digital consent management.
• Exposure to IT operations, incident/problem management, or release management.
• Experience working with Jira for backlog and workflow management.
• Knowledge of the automotive industry or large enterprise environments.
