About the Role

Diverge

IT is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Depot Service Engineer to join our team in Torrance, CA
. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, is eager to learn, and wants to grow in the IT field. You’ll be part of a supportive team that values curiosity, precision, and a strong work ethic.

What You’ll Do

  • Set up and configure Windows PCs and Apple Macs
  • Install and update software for client devices
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and diagnostics
  • Provide support via phone, email, and instant messaging
  • Assist with Smart Hands tasks for escalated support teams
  • Maintain depot inventory and workspace organization
  • Follow documented procedures and contribute to process improvements

What We’re Looking For

  • Basic understanding of Windows 10/11 and macOS
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Intune (Endpoint Manager) is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Must be local to Torrance, CA (within 30 miles)

Preferred (but not required) Certifications

  • Apple Certified Support Professional (ASCP)
  • CW University:
    Automate Service Tech, Screen Connect Basics, PSA Help Desk Technician

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday (on-site)
  • 8am - 5pm
  • Participation in on-call rotation may be required
