About the Role
Diverge
IT is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Depot Service Engineer to join our team in Torrance, CA
. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, is eager to learn, and wants to grow in the IT field. You’ll be part of a supportive team that values curiosity, precision, and a strong work ethic.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and configure Windows PCs and Apple Macs
- Install and update software for client devices
- Perform basic troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Provide support via phone, email, and instant messaging
- Assist with Smart Hands tasks for escalated support teams
- Maintain depot inventory and workspace organization
- Follow documented procedures and contribute to process improvements
What We’re Looking For
- Basic understanding of Windows 10/11 and macOS
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Intune (Endpoint Manager) is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Must be local to Torrance, CA (within 30 miles)
Preferred (but not required) Certifications
- Apple Certified Support Professional (ASCP)
- CW University:
Automate Service Tech, Screen Connect Basics, PSA Help Desk Technician
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required

Schedule
- Monday to Friday (on-site)
- 8am - 5pm
- Participation in on-call rotation may be required
