• Prepare ACORD applications, quotes, certificates of insurance, auto , endorsement requests, policy checks, filing, download policies, and data entry as part of daily operations. Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers as needed.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Respond to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification. Training will be provided.

• Strong communication skills for daily interaction with insurance companies and clients. Identify, qualify, and develop personal insurance opportunities with new and existing clients in person, online, by phone, and through written communication in both Japanese and English
  .
• Able to work in a professional office environment utilizing English and Japanese language skills (with emphasis on strong Japanese language capabilities).
• Must be detail oriented.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint with aptitude to learn new systems. Familiarity with Zywave is a plus.
• CA Department of Insurance Property & Casualty license is a plus but must be able to obtain within 6 months after the starting date.
• 1 or 2 years of experience in personal lines insurance such as auto, homeowners, personal umbrella.
• Work in our Torrance Office for every working day.

• The initial 3 months will be as a temporary employee, with the possibility of converting to a full-time position based on performance and business needs.
