Lab Technician I – Column Packing

Responsible for packing solvents in column hardware in one of Phenomenex’s primary packing labs. The role reports to the Production Manager and is part of the Production Operations Department located in Torrance, California. This is an on‑site position.

• Proficiently pack different solvents into column hardware.
• Follow written instructions (SOPs) for all critical processes.
• Prepare packing solvents and slurry solvents according to written instructions.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Analytical thinking, problem‑solving skills, and strong attention to detail with a focus on task completion.

• Experience working accurately and free of errors or defects.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to plan and assign resources in a detailed fashion.

Hourly rate: $22 – $23. Eligible for bonus/incentive pay. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan for eligible employees. Pay is determined upon earned, vested, and determination.
