Description:
FLU VACCINE REQUIRED. First-time travelers accepted with 2 years of PACU experience. Some weekend requirements are expected. Floating may be required. On-call requirements include weeknight call and call on weekends, scheduled every 2 months. All licenses must be active at the time of submission; no pending licenses are acceptable. No scheduling requests can be accommodated. No time off requests within the first 2 weeks of the assignment.
Previous charge experience not required. Must possess skills in various areas including abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, airway assessment, cardiac arrest management, pain assessment, and more. The patient population includes post-surgery patients across multiple specialties. Daily census average is around 60 patients. Facility supports interdisciplinary care from various teams including respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services. Traveler must be flexible with scheduling requests.
Compliance modules are required to be completed prior to the start of the assignment. Max time off allowed is 10 days, with limitations on timing.
