Employee Benefits Account Manager
Job SummarySeeking a highly skilled and experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join a growing team. This role is pivotal in managing and supporting the employee benefits accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee benefits, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely, with occasional travel required during enrollment seasons.
CompensationPackage
- Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 annually, plus commission eligibility for any business bound from cross-sell opportunities or client referrals.
- Competitive benefits package, 401(k), paid time off, professional development opportunities, etc.
- Manage a portfolio of fully insured group accounts ranging from 10-250 lives.
- Conduct open enrollment meetings independently and effectively.
- Handle cross-sell opportunities from the Commercial Lines production team.
- Market accounts and manage renewal presentations.
- Quote new and renewal business as needed.
- Utilize software tools such as Ease/Employee Navigator, EPIC, and Mineral (HR) to manage accounts.
- Travel during enrollment seasons to conduct in-person enrollment meetings.
- Licenses/Certifications: Active Life & Health (L&H) license required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in employee benefits account management, with a preference for candidates with 5+ years of experience.
- Proven ability to conduct open enrollment meetings independently.
- Proficiency in software tools such as Ease/Employee Navigator, EPIC, and Mineral (HR).
- Strong public speaking skills and the ability to communicate proactively and effectively.
