Duties and Responsibilities- Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales opportunities.
- Communicates with customers and potential customers to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and promotes products and services to meet those needs.
- Communicates with sales manager to set prices and sales margins.
- Communicates with sales manager to set credit terms for each customer.
- Develops a thorough knowledge of products.
- Explains the quality and uses of products to customers based on their needs.
- Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
- Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products that may be of interest.
- Monitors accounts receivable and collects payments from customers as needed.
Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems. - Delivers products to customers as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to drive for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
