Position Summary The Shift Supervisor oversees daily security operations during the assigned shift, ensuring officer performance, site safety, and client service meet company standards. This on-site leader guides officers, links staff and management, and helps coordinate schedules and resolve issues. This position is a Safety Sensitive Function under Company policy.

Minimum Qualifications

Must have a BSIS Guard Card
Minimum age 18 years
Able to stand and walk for extended periods
Valid driver's license and approved MVR
Customer service experience and professional approach
Must pass background check and drug screen

Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct foot and vehicle patrols; identify and report safety concerns
Monitor access points, verifying IDs and credentials
Monitor CCTV, alarms, and electronic security systems
Respond to alarms and incidents per protocol; coordinate with law enforcement when needed
Lead on-site incident response until management/law enforcement arrives
Maintain accurate logs; review officer reports for accuracy
Write clear, timely incident reports; communicate by radio, phone, in person
Enforce Post Instructions and Company/client policies (smoking, loitering, parking)
Maintain professional appearance; ensure officers do the same
