** What You'll Be Doing
*** Assist with troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical systems in an industrial setting
* Learn to install, maintain, and calibrate plant equipment and instrumentation
* Support preventative maintenance programs and document work performed
* Participate in safety inspections and follow all safety protocols
* Attend required technical schooling as part of the 2.5-year apprenticeship program
** What Are We Looking For
*** Strong interest in electrical and mechanical systems
* Ability to work safely and follow detailed instructions
* Willingness to learn and attend required schooling
* Demonstrated reliability and teamwork
* Basic computer literacy and communication skills
** Conditions of Employment
*** Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
* Enrollment and active participation in the 2.5-year apprenticeship program, which includes classroom instruction and on-the-job training
** Work Environment
*** Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
** What We Offer*** $22.00 per hour upon entry into the Apprenticeship Program. Increases will be provided halfway through the program and upon successfully completing the program.
