- Current LCSW license required
- Experience in school settings or with pediatric populations
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with students, staff, and families
- Background in providing counseling, crisis intervention, and support services
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of relevant legal and ethical guidelines for schools
Responsibilities:
- Manage an elementary school caseload, delivering counseling services to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
- Conduct assessments to identify student needs and develop intervention strategies
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parent/guardian groups
- Implement evidence-based interventions and prevention programs
- Maintain thorough, professional records of progress and support delivered
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and consult on student plans
- Provide crisis intervention, referrals, and assistance connecting families with community resources
