Site Support Staff
Site Support Staff provide non-instructional support at EdAdvance Adult & Continuing Education program sites. Depending on the assigned site's needs, responsibilities may include welcoming and directing students and visitors; monitoring site access; if needed, supporting childcare and supervision for minor children of adult learners; and supporting the Site Coordinator with general site operations. Site Support Staff play an important role in creating a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for adult learners, their families, and program staff.

- Childcare and Child Supervision (as needed)
- Communication and Teamwork
Supervision:
Site Support Staff work under the supervision of the Program Site Coordinators and the Director of Adult & Continuing Education.
Qualifications:
- Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with adult learners, children, staff, and visitors.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to follow directions, procedures, and established site protocols.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism when working with students, families, and staff.
- Flexibility and willingness to perform a variety of support duties based on the needs of the assigned site.
- Ability to remain attentive and focused while completing assigned responsibilities.
- Prior experience working with children, adult learners, customer service, clerical work, or educational programs is preferred but not required, depending on the assignment.
Work Environment:
Site Support Staff may work in classrooms, offices, common areas, and other program spaces within adult education facilities. Work assignments and responsibilities may vary based on the needs of the individual program site. Employees are expected to follow all EdAdvance policies and procedures, as well as applicable building, safety, emergency, and program requirements.
