Charlotte Hungerford Hospital is seeking a 36 hour Audiologist who will work onsite within the hospital's ENT office.

• Independently evaluate patients experiencing symptoms related to the ear and hearing by examining patient and assessing nature and extent of hearing disorder using testing devices.
• Assess impact and severity of hearing loss in order to develop an appropriate treatment plan.
• Develop comprehensive diagnosis in order the ENT physician to develop an appropriate treatment plan.
• Diagnose severity of hearing loss: mild, moderate, moderately severe, severe, and profound
• Diagnose category of hearing loss: sensorineural hearing loss, conductive hearing loss, and mixed hearing loss
• Monitor patient progress to update diagnosis per ENT physician order.
• Evaluate and determine hearing aid candidacy. Dispense, activate and program hearing aids
• Monitor treatment plan and adjust plan of care as needed.
• Provide hearing test results and consultation to ENT physicians for the development of treatment plan

• Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Audiology from an ASHA or ACAE accredited Audiology program
• State of Connecticut Audiologist License
• Experience preferred
