• Responsible for both clinical and administrative areas including assisting physicians with patient care and handling clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks.
• Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinical services.
• May be assigned to a specific medical specialty department.

• Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant or LPN program required
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential preferred
• Three or more years experience preferred
• Knowledge of health care field and medical office protocols/procedures
• Skill in tact and diplomacy in interpersonal interactions
• Ability to plan, prioritize and complete designated tasks
• Ability to demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with others
