We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at the Torrington Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our short-term rehabilitation and nursing residents. Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to residents, including vital sign checks, wound care, and mobility assistance
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care and progress
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry best practices and regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current CNA certification
- Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
