We are expanding rapidly and are adding to our team—from sales and shop floor locations to remote online team members. We are a diverse, creative, and passionate crew who are always looking to discover and implement fresh, innovative ideas and make some pretty amazing things.
Responsible for accurate counting, slip sheeting, and packaging of completed jobs. Capable of constructing crates from available materials. Responsible for producing packing lists and operating various pieces of equipment. Packages finished printed materials manually or with equipment assistance, maintaining customer specifications and carrier limitations.
Roles and Responsibilities- Maintain positive work relations with others and create a team environment.
- Obtain and sort printed product.
- Verify quantity to be packed from customer order.
- Operate and maintain packaging equipment necessary to pack merchandise.
- Wrap protective material around product.
- Assemble goods and prepare for shipping—apply various tapes, easels, roll banners, gather signage, cut wind-slots, use glue guns, paper drill.
- Cut stock with a guillotine (if trained) or manually with multi‑purpose knives.
- Grommet banners, signs, and other items; pull stock, trim stock, fold printed stock.
- Constantly watch the quality of the printed goods being prepared for shipment.
- Ensure that the correct items and quantities are inserted into the packages for shipment.
- Weigh cartons and skids, label containers and skids, and deliver finished goods to the shipping department.
- Inspect materials, products, and containers at each step of the packaging process.
- Record information such as weight, time, date packaged, and carrier.
- Assemble shipping crates if necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment.
- Perform any other duties that may be required.
- High school diploma, GED, or one to three years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
