About the Role:
As an Electronic Tester based in Torrington, CT, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of electronic components and systems before they reach the market. Your primary focus will be to conduct thorough testing procedures, identify defects, and verify that products meet stringent industry standards and specifications. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and a strong understanding of electronic circuitry and testing equipment.
You will collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and recommend improvements. Ultimately, your work will contribute to delivering high-quality electronic products that meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent with a strong background in electronics.
- Proven experience in electronic testing or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with electronic test equipment and basic circuit theory.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree or certification in electronics technology or a related discipline.
- Experience with automated test systems and software.
- Knowledge of quality control standards such as IPC or ISO.
