Registered Nurse (RN) - Interventional Radiology (PDm)

Charlotte Hungerford Hospital (10115) – Torrington, CT. Hartford Health Care is seeking an Interventional Radiology RN to provide high quality nursing care across all imaging modalities within the Radiology Department, including pre-procedure, intra-procedure and post-procedure care.

The Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) applies all phases of care for invasive radiology procedures and demonstrates competency in advanced patient assessment skills (neurological, cardiac, pulmonary, GI, GU, skin and musculoskeletal). The RN functions as clinically competent in procedural sedation, administering conscious sedation, understanding the sedation recovery phase, reversal agents and airway recovery skills.

• Provide high quality nursing care to patients across imaging modalities within the Radiology Department.
• Assess patients across multiple body systems and support peri-procedural care (pre-, intra-, and post-procedure).
• Administer conscious sedation and monitor during procedures; manage sedation recovery.
• Collaborate with radiology team to ensure safe, efficient procedures and patient comfort.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with active RN Connecticut State License (BSN Required).
• Strong Cardiac/Critical Care background; 2 years of ICU RN experience required.
• Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology experience preferred.
• ACLS Required.
