• Use the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, documentation, evaluation) to provide direct and indirect care to patients based on your assigned area(s), addressing age‑appropriate needs.
• Follow nursing department philosophies, policies, and procedures to develop unique education and care plans for each patient and provide appropriate education and support for family members.
• Utilize judgment, knowledge, and understanding of patient and family needs when directing ancillary staff.
• Ensure customer satisfaction (patient, family, physician, others), maintain patient confidentiality, and respond sensitively to age‑specific needs for comfort, privacy, and general care.
• Annually complete the competency requirements specific to your area(s) of responsibility.

• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
