Join Target as a General Merchandise and Food Sales team member, responsible for ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.

Starting Hourly Rate: $17.75 USD per hour

Experts of store process and efficiency who enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.

The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise areas of the store.

Responsibilities:

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete your daily tasks.
• Engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs.
• Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target.
• Execute daily tasks assigned to you by your leader to help achieve goals that align with business priorities.
• Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures, if certified.
• Execute processes including changing prices to products, merchandise set-up and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed by your leader.
• Learn how operational procedures affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability.
• Be knowledgeable about the resources, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
• Work in a safe manner at all times; comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, and digital fulfillment processes.

Requirements:

• Attention to detail and follow a multi-step process.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established time frames.
