Excellent opportunity for an Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer to join an innovative engineering business who are currently in a phase of expansion, where you'll be able to see your designs come to life on the manufacturing floor.

They pride themselves on a great culture and providing a massive amount of technical support for new staff. Due to expansion, a very healthy order book and multi-million-pound projects with blue-chip clients incoming, they are seeking a Senior Design Engineer, to join their close-knit team.

In this role, you'll be working on projects from concept through to completion on the shop floor. You'll take ownership of key product design activities across concept development, prototyping, testing, documentation, and support for manufacture. You'll receive on-the-job training in their niche industry from experts in the field to equip you with the knowledge needed.

THE ROLE:

* Design across a range of cutting edge electromechanical products

* Full project lifecycle ownership - working throughout the full process from concept to manufacture

* Developing new design concepts

* Project budget, material selection

* Product/Industry Training

THE PERSON:

* Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (min 5-years)

* Experience with CAD Software

* Ideally a background in Electro-Mechanical products

* Engineering degree preferred
