* Overview* We are looking for a skilled
* Security Technician
* to join our team on a
* 6-month contract-to-hire
* basis.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing and servicing IP-based security systems in commercial and industrial settings.

* Key responsibilities
* include installing access control systems, electronic door and lock hardware, running and terminating cables, and troubleshooting issues. Candidates should be self-driven, maintain a professional appearance, and communicate effectively with customers.

* Please note:

* During the contract period, candidates will use their own vehicle to travel. This is a field-based role, responding to client installation and service calls across
* Central and North Jersey*-not a single-site position.

* Preferred Skills
* * Installation and servicing of CCTV systems

* Installation and servicing of Card Access systems

* Installation and servicing of Burglar/Fire Alarm systems

* Strong construction knowledge

* Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings

* Excellent problem-solving skills

* Job Requirements
* * Ability to operate hand and power tools, lift up to 50 lbs, and install/service security devices

* Clear communication with customers and team members

* Ability to climb ladders and work at heights (12-32 feet or higher using man lifts)

* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook)

* Ability to recognize and identify colors

* Dependable and punctual attendance

* Ability to work full-time schedule and overtime as needed

* Available for travel, including nights and weekends

* Required to wear company uniform and maintain a neat appearance

* This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Totowa, NJ.

* Pay and Benefits
* The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
