A well-established organisation based in Totton, Hampshire is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. What will the Assistant Accountant role involve?- Assisting with purchase ledger invoice processing and coding checks
- Supporting month-end tasks, including accruals, journals, prepayments, and fixed assets
- Conducting reconciliations of bank and balance sheet accounts
- Helping prepare management accounts and financial reports
- Supporting the team with ad-hoc duties and contributing to the smooth running of the finance department
- Proficient in Excel
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communicator with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Onsite parking available
- Flexible hours
