This role offers the opportunity to join a respected M&E Building Services contractor and develop your career within a supportive pre-construction environment. The Role Assistant Mechanical Estimator This role would suit someone with existing Building Services, Mechanical, Quantity Surveying, Project Engineering, or Estimating experience who is looking to further develop their career within mechanical pre-construction. You will work closely with senior estimators, suppliers, subcontractors, and operational teams, assisting with the preparation of accurate and competitive tenders for mechanical building services projects. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on estimating experience while working on a diverse range of building services projects.
Requirements Previous experience within Mechanical Building Services, Construction, Estimating, Quantity Surveying, Project Engineering, or a related environment Good understanding of mechanical building services systems including HVAC, ventilation, pipework, public health, and associated services Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical information Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills Good communication skills and a willingness to learn Positive and proactive attitude with a genuine interest in developing a long-term career within estimating Full UK Driving Licence Remuneration Package Assistant Mechanical Estimator £40,000 £ 55,000 Company Pension Scheme Training and Development Support Mentoring from Experienced Estimators Long-Term Career Progression Opportunities Next Steps Please apply online today, or contact Rob at David Leslie Ltd for an informal and confidential discussion.
