Hours:
Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, 8.30am - 5.30pm Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum Excellent Benefits Purpose of the role The ideal candidate has experience with working with Oracle applications, working with EMEA sites & external 3rd party suppliers. Provide support and contribute to ERP projects that are managed in IT for the various Associate sites in the EMEA region that use Oracle.
The role will require active involvement in projects with the ability to contribute solutions to business needs and the ability to train others and offer advice on best practice on use of ERP systems. With the long-term transition to Oracle, the position holder will be involved and see the transition of current Navision sites onto Oracle
The Role will be primarily ERP financials related with a good understanding of the integration into other areas of ERP systems and within Oracle. Support Garmin Finance (Global) GL AR AP & FA (Knowledge of EB Tax, Cash Management and Sub ledgers would be an advantage). Key
Duties & Responsibilities ;
Implement, configure and support Oracle ERP System as well as related business applications. Gathers and document detailed requirements for business needs and collaborates with others to determine basic functional solution design. Demonstrates basic understanding and execution of the software development lifecycle. Uses knowledge of troubleshooting and research tools to complete basic troubleshooting. Documents Test Plans, tests cases and test results.
Tests customizations and developments designed by other IT associates and document test results. Contributes suggestions to improve basic processes. Applies standards and procedures to accomplish tasks. Provides adequate documentation to support development. Works collaboratively and professionally in a team environment with other Garmin associates to achieve goals. Identifies and resolves problems of basic scope using appropriate methodology. Accepts and acts on constructive criticism.
Understands Garmins Mission Statement and Quality Policy. Education & Experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Can do, collaborative attitude. Proactive and highly motivated self starter. Must be flexible and able to work in a fast paced environment. Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks. Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel)
