HGV Class 1 Driver tramper

We are seeking a professional and reliable HGV CLASS 1 Lorry Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various locations, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a dynamic environment, contributing to the efficient operation of our supply chain.

Duties

• Operate lorries in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies.
• Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays.
• Adhere to all health and safety standards, including compliance with road traffic laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• Must hold driver CPC.
• Must hold HGV class 1 licence
• Must hold a full UK driving licence
• Excellent time-management skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Respectable appearance.

• Good geographic knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best driving practices.
• Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members.
• A clean driving record is preferred, demonstrating responsible driving behaviour. This role is ideal for motivated individuals committed to delivering exceptional service while maintaining high safety standards in their daily operations.
• Refrigerated work experience is an advantage.
