HGV Driver - Pass

Position: HGV Driver - New Pass Welcome
The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Southampton area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team

Roles:

* HGV Class 2 - Days

* HGV Class 2 - Nights

Hours:

* Class 2 Days - Across Sunday to Saturday - 07:00am - 10:00am

* Class 2 Nights - Across Sunday to Friday (Sunday and Fridays required) - 20:00pm
-03:00am starts

* Please note drivers must be available to work weekends within their availability
* Pay Rate:

* Class 2 Days - £15.11 per hour PAYE

* Class 2 Nights - £17.23 per hour PAYE

Job Type: Ongoing

The role:

· Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.

· Drivers will be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle.

· Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

· Full UK driving licence for the relevant licence.

· Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

. Experience on the relevant vehicle required

· No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

· Full understanding of WTD legislation.

· Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.

· Excellent communication skills.

· A safety-first mindset.
