Reading Teaching Assistant | Waltham Forest | September 2026 Start A welcoming and high-achieving primary school in Waltham Forest is seeking a Reading Teaching Assistant from September 2026 on a full-time basis until the end of the academic year in July 2027, with strong potential for extension. This role is ideal for a graduate with strong child-centred experience looking to support KS1KS2 pupils through targeted literacy, reading and writing interventions within a highly supportive school environment.
The school has built a strong reputation for literacy and inclusion, with Reading outcomes consistently above national averages across KS1 and KS2. Leaders place significant emphasis on vocabulary development, phonics and reading fluency through carefully planned intervention programmes and structured classroom support. Reading Teaching Assistant September 2026 | Waltham Forest £498.54 weekly via PAYE (inclusive of holiday pay) What the school offers:
