This is a rare opportunity for an aspiring Engineer looking to get kick‑start their career with full training and progression to be a fully qualified Service Engineer in the manufacturing sector.
You'll receive full training, structured development and hands‑on mentoring from senior engineers - with a clear route into a qualified Service Engineer role, quick salary increases and overtime paid at time and a half to boost earnings.
You'll support the installation, servicing and maintenance of specialist process equipment used by breweries, wineries and drinks manufacturers across the UK.
Travel is involved, but extended stays away are mainly limited to busier summer periods.
This would suit someone from a Production operatives / machine operators and College Engineering background or similar. This role suits someone looking for long-term career development, not just a job.
The Role- Assist with installation, servicing and maintenance of process equipment
- Support fault-finding and breakdowns on customer sites
- Travel to customer locations across the UK (weekdays only)
- Learn mechanical and electrical aspects of industrial machinery
- Provide technical support under supervision
- Motivated, reliable and keen to learn a skilled trade
- Background in manufacturing, engineering, production or similar
- Comfortable with travel and occasional overnight stays
- Practical, hands‑on mindset with strong problem‑solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
- £24,000 - £27,000 basic salary
- Overtime paid at 1.5x
