Electronics Design Engineer

Partner Electronics is looking for an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on innovative projects across sectors including medical, consumer, energy, and space, with a clear pathway to progress into a Senior Engineer role.

You’ll be part of a collaborative hardware and software team, designing and developing electronic and embedded solutions while working closely with clients.

• Design electronic and embedded firmware systems
• Capture requirements and develop technical solutions
• Support client projects and provide technical input

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar electronics design role
• Strong problem‑solving skills and proactive approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ambition to grow into a Senior Engineer

Strong experience in several of the following:

• Electronics design across analogue, high‑speed digital, low‑power, and audio circuits
• Wireless technologies, power transfer systems, and network design
• EMC design, compliance, and testing
• Battery‑powered system design and optimisation
• PCB design for manufacture, including use of industry‑standard CAD tools
• Hardware interfaces such as UART/serial, USB, Ethernet, and Bluetooth
• Embedded firmware development (bare metal and/or RTOS environments)
• Product verification, validation, and approvals processes
• Experience with camera systems and video streaming
• FPGA/CPLD design and development

• Full driving license and access to a car due to location

• Clear career progression to Senior Engineer
