• Producing electrical design deliverables including single line diagrams, schematics, cable schedules, and equipment layouts
• Developing supporting documentation including bills of materials and design packs
• Taking a lead designer role across projects and proposals
• Mentoring and supporting junior and mid-level designers
• Reviewing and checking designs to ensure quality and compliance
• Collaborating across disciplines to deliver coordinated design solutions
• Ensuring all designs are safe, practical, and fit for purpose

• Proven experience as an Electrical Designer across infrastructure or industrial projects
• Proficient in CAD and 3D modelling tools
• Strong knowledge of UK electrical standards and legislation
• Experience across multiple stages of the project lifecycle
• Good communication skills with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels
• HNC/HND, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification
• Professional accreditation or working towards it is desirable
