EHS Specialist
Job Purpose:
To support the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs at the site, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible operations.
Shift pattern – 8 hours a day, 5 days a week flexible hours
Key Responsibilities:
Incident investigation and analysis
Conduct accident investigations on reported incidents, near misses and observations
Conduct analysis and assign corrective and preventative actions
Carry out trend analysis to prevent future incidents
Compliance and Documentation:
Maintain COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) and risk assessments.
Update and manage procedure documents to align with regulatory standards and site requirements.
Conduct safety sign offs for new equipment
Carry out risk assessments and train non EHS staff on risk assessment
Continuous Improvement:
Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies for EHS program enhancement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive safety and sustainability initiatives.
Expansion support
Provide input to the planning of the expansion of operations across the site while maintaining operations and site safety standards
Support innervation of improved safety solutions for manufacturing operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
Nebosh qualification preferred but not required
Strong experience in EHS operations within semi-conductors, chemical plant or similar industrial environment.
Knowledge of COSHH, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to respond effectively to emergencies.
Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational abilities
